How to edit the photos in a Splash module

If you want to edit the photos that appear in a splash module, you will do so through the Gallery editor.

If you need more information on splash modules in general, click here.

Before you change the photos in the gallery of a splash module, you will need to know what gallery the module is using.  To do this, you will have to look at the module in the gallery editor.  If you do not know the name of the gallery, you will first have to look at the page that the module is on.

To find out the name of the module, go to the Page Editor and click on the page that the splash module is on. If it is on the home page, go to the Publication Manager, click on the publication to open it, and then click on the "Edit Page Layout" button at the bottom.

Once the page layout opens, scroll to the bottom to the "Add & Arrange Modules" section. Look at the module that is under the "top" position - this is the name of the module you will need to look at in the content manager.

Now click on the Content Manager. Find the splash module and click on it to open it.  Look at the gallery name that is selected in the dropdown in the "Select Gallery" field. Note the name of this gallery.

Now, go to the Gallery Editor. Find the gallery that is in the module. Click on it to open it.

To change any of the photos, click on the "browse" button beneath the photo. Find the photo on your desktop and click OK.  Then check the box on the left of the photo and click "Update" at the bottom to change the photo.

If you want to delete photos, just check the box next to the photo and click "Delete" at the bottom.

If you want to just add new photos but not delete any, you can use the "Upload Images" field above all of the images. Use the Browse button to find your photo and then click "Update."
